                                 The Lost Doll
Why do little girls love dolls? But that’s something for me to answer another time. This story tells about one specific doll. It was never found until now. But some things need to be kept buried. The doll is named Janice. She has been kept a secret from the world because of her…well personality as you say. It all started on a peaceful Saturday afternoon. 8 year old Samantha was playing on her lawn. She got drawn away after seeing a small thing across the street. As she made her way over, she noticed there was a doll in the trees behind her neighbor’s home. When she got to the doll she could see there was a name engraved on its neck, but it was too far to see. So she climbed the tree and got the doll down. She read the name. It was called Janice. There was something unusual about this doll. It was odd as she thought to herself. She brought it back home to show her mom. When she got back home see saw the police were there. When they spotted her they grabbed her and bought her back home. Her mom was relieved that they found her. As soon as the police left she showed the doll to her mom. She gave her the doll. The mother said it looked fairly new. She let Sam keep it. When she took it to the bathroom to clean the hair she saw on the scalp hidden letters. It said in capital letters DESTROY THIS DOLL! Afraid she covered it back up. She then got ready for bed. She fell asleep quickly. Around 2 AM there were noises coming from the kitchen. Sam got up to go look. She saw the doll sitting in the dining room chair, but she had left her in the spare room they had downstairs in the basement. So she left to her room. She fell back asleep. When she woke up in the morning her mom was waiting for her in the dining room. She looked mad. When Samantha got there she saw the mess that was there. There was broken glass and dirt from outside everywhere. Sam told her mom she didn’t do it. Then she started to think. What if the doll did it? It was in the dining room when she left. What if it was possessed? Like that could ever happen. So to prove to herself that it wasn’t her and that it was maybe someone else who broke in or if it was the doll she put cameras all throughout the house. She was lucky enough that her mother didn’t  punish her that bad. She set up all the cameras then went to bed. The next morning she checked the tapes. What she found was unbelievable. The doll. The doll was walking. It looked straight into the camera and it went blank. The tape died somehow even though it was fully charged before she started filming. Then one day she notice the doll started to change. It was coming to life. She noticed the doll started to move fingers and the eyes were looking different ways.

bored comment what you think.
